International Peace Poster Contest

 

2003-04 Grand Prize Poster

Your school or youth group can participate in the Lions Peace Poster contest!  Students age 11-13 are encouraged to participate.

"Peace Without Borders" is the theme

of the 2005-06 Peace Poster Contest.

Lions clubs can sponsor the program in their community for children in local schools or organized, sponsored youth groups. Students, ages 11, 12 or 13 on November 15, 2005, are eligible to participate. Through the contest, students are encouraged to visually depict their interpretation of the contest's theme.

Judging

Each poster is judged on originality, artistic merit and expression of the theme.

Posters advance through several judging levels: local, district, multiple district and international. At the international level, judges from the art, peace, youth, education and media communities select one grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners.
